Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member and play a key role in efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores. As an integral part of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, taking inventory counts, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the warehouse. You will collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, providing input to improve processes and achieve budgeted goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring product quality, safety, and sanitation. If you are 18 years of age or older, demonstrate conscientiousness, collaborate effectively with the team, possess a positive attitude, drive for success, organize and execute efficiently, and have the ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures, this role might be perfect for you.
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse, and work in varying temperatures. Additionally, you must have the ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
