Job Description

We are seeking a dependable 3rd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. As part of our warehouse operations, you will efficiently fulfill orders received from stores, maintain product integrity, and ensure warehouse appearance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication.
• Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
• Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, product integrity, and safety of one’s own and others’ work and impact to the stores.
• Commit to and support a collaborative working environment with peers and supervisors.
• Adapt positively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change in order to achieve and sustain peak effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent performance by adhering to ALDI policies and procedures and maintaining compliance with ALDI standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.
• Safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
