Job Description

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is seeking a motivated and responsible Accountant to join our team. As an accountant, you will work directly with the general ledger, handle account reconciliations, and assist various departments in financial matters. You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and modifying accounting procedures, preparing fiscal reports, and ensuring compliance with fiscal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the general ledger, including account reconciliations.
  • Develop and modify accounting procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and analyze fiscal reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA candidate with up to two years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
