Activities Manager

Job Description

Vi Living is looking for a dedicated Activities Manager to lead our Lifestyle department in orchestrating enriching programs for our residents. This role involves supervising the Lifestyle staff and developing a diverse range of activities focused on whole-person wellness. As a key member of the team, you will coordinate with various departments to ensure the well-being and engagement of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate monthly resident programs to enhance emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident care needs and develop tailored care plans.
• Evaluate program success and adjust offerings based on resident feedback and preferences.
• Supervise, train, and manage the lifestyle department staff to deliver high-quality programs.
• Establish community relationships and oversee Resident Program Committees.
• Manage program documentation, newsletters, calendars, and supplies inventory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for skilled nursing activities.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with older adults, particularly those with dementia/Alzheimer's.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
• College degree or equivalent experience required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with supervisory roles.
• Licensure or certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Pay Range

USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 per year.
