Job Description

Join our mission-driven team at Sevita, a leading provider of community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to fill the role of Direct Support Professional Caregiver at multiple locations in Ocean County, NJ. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals grow, learn, and live well by providing support with daily activities, personal hygiene, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Develop meaningful relationships and support participants in achieving developmental goals.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy various activities.
• Provide care with compassion, patience, and understanding.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Standard Driver's license with access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Positive behaviors such as patience, reliability, and responsibility.
