Caregiver Lead

Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team. As a Lead Care Manager, you will oversee a group of Care Managers, ensuring quality care services are delivered in accordance with residents' individualized Service Plans. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise team members, manage schedules, and support ADL care services.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided and compliance with policies.
• Support meal service, coach team members, and bridge documentation gaps.
• Participate in crossover meetings and maintain a safe environment for staff and residents.

Other Responsibilities:

• Lead medication administration if required, participate in onboarding, and uphold safety standards.
• Address resident condition changes, assist in care plan updates, and handle conflicts within the team.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and project professionalism in actions and communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, certifications as per state regulations.
• Medication Management Certificate, previous experience in senior care, and leadership competencies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, time management, and decision-making abilities.
