Join our team at Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) as a Construction Inspector in Lawrence, KS. As a critical member of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of various construction projects in civil, municipal, and architectural disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Inspect a wide range of construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and contract specifications.
- Review and interpret construction drawings including infrastructure, transportation, and site plans.
- Attend meetings, resolve issues, and recommend changes to meet project requirements.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, monitor testing, and conduct final inspections.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of construction inspection experience preferred.
- KDOT Inspection Experience and certifications like KDOT CITT and ACI are advantageous.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and technical documents.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
