Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing industrial equipment availability, maintaining critical spares, and coordinating equipment servicing strategies to ensure optimal uptime performance.

Responsibilities

• Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares needed for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares and track open purchase orders.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely and efficient preventative maintenance.
• Establish equipment uptime performance metrics and drive maintenance-related tasks.
• Assist in developing facility projects and annual maintenance budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CNC and Robotic equipment, and reading OEM drawings.
• Desirable experience in Aerospace Assembly, CAD design, additive manufacturing, and inventory management.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace Assembly, Continuous Improvement, CAD design, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of Facility Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Machine Design, and laser alignment techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive consistent maintenance procedures.
