FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter

Job Description

We are looking for a FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Wyalusing, PA. As part of a global team committed to sustainable practices, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Start at the TS Tech I level and progress to TS Tech III level after training.
• Interact with USDA-FSIS inspectors and ensure plant compliance with regulatory standards.
• Use tools like knives to prepare carcasses for inspection.
• Rotate through different areas of the harvest floor as needed.
• Must meet physical requirements and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot, humid environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English.
• Preferably, experience in beef processing, bilingualism, and knowledge of USDA-FSIS requirements.
