Job Description

Arnold Motor Supply is looking for a Full Time Engine Machinist to join our team. As an Engine Machinist, you will be responsible for offering specialized engine machining solutions to meet our customers' unique needs. This role entails operating and maintaining machine shop equipment, managing a variety of projects, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and develop custom engine machining solutions.
• Operate and maintain machine shop equipment efficiently and safely.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage diverse projects from various industries such as agriculture, high-performance, and vintage/restoration.
• Provide accurate job estimates and ensure on-time project completion.
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout projects.
• Perform a wide range of machine shop tasks including engine rebuilds, part reconditioning, and machining.

Requirements

• Manual dexterity skills for machining and assembly operations.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Mechanical inclination and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Comfort with standing, lifting, twisting, and bending.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
