Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the Company Driver include performing pre and post-trip inspections of their vehicle, ensuring safe loading and unloading practices, operating the equipment (tractor, trailer, yard truck, straight truck) effectively, reviewing and verifying delivery paperwork, and delivering products professionally while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment along with route instructions
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Inspect and secure loads, follow route plans, and meet delivery requirements
- Communicate any route plan issues promptly
- Ensure cargo security throughout the delivery route and complete all required paperwork accurately
- Accurately report hours of service using an electronic logging device (ELD)
- Report to work at designated times and conditions
