Job Description
The Leave Management Ability Analyst at The Hartford investigates claims to determine if the insured person qualifies for benefits and partners with them to facilitate a return to work. They support the mission of rebuilding our customers' lives after an unexpected event or illness within prescribed standards and ethical requirements. The position has a Hybrid work arrangement, involving office-based work in Hartford, CT three days a week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with internal and external customers to gather and communicate information related to leave management claims.
- Deliver exceptional customer service using professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Utilize critical thinking and mathematical aptitude to gather information, make sound decisions, and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Make ethical decisions based on a blend of analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Maintain a dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Support Group Benefit Claims Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and objectives.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in quality customer service.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- HS Diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of claim experience is a plus.
Compensation
The annualized base pay range for this role is $40,685 - $61,027. It reflects The Hartford’s total compensation package, which may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and other rewards.
