Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Vocational Instruction Project Community Services Inc. As an LPN, you will report to the Nurse Manager and provide essential nursing care to ensure our clients receive quality and cost-effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism, cooperation, respect, and dignity in interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Follow prescribed care plans and administer medications according to policies.
• Monitor clients for signs of intoxication or medication side effects.
• Maintain accurate medication records and document client medical information.
• Work within the scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Participate in training, education programs, and professional development seminars.

Requirements

• Current NYS LPN License and Infection Control Certificate.
• Minimum one year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a substance abuse treatment program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Must have sight and digital senses to perform job functions.
