Job Description
Alsum Farms & Produce Inc., a grower, packer, and shipper of potatoes & onions located in Friesland, WI, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join their team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor with parts distribution, inventory management, and ensuring technicians have the necessary supplies to perform their duties efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in parts distribution and maintain parts room inventory.
- Research, evaluate, and order mechanical parts, motors, rollers, and belting as needed.
- Enter requests for parts and update maintenance work orders.
- Support the Maintenance Technicians with data entry tasks.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance functions.
- Experience with CMMS software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a salary of $15.00 to $20.00 per hour.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.
- Location: Friesland, WI.
