Job Description
We are looking for a talented Manager of Demand Planning to join our team at Advanced Drainage Systems. As a multi-billion dollar stormwater management company, ADS is dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to traditional materials. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the demand planning and consensus forecasting process to ensure coordination between demand signals and supply plans, optimizing inventory levels to meet customer requirements efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
- Collaborating with various teams to gather insights contributing to precise demand forecasts.
- Optimizing inventory levels to balance customer service goals with cost-efficiency.
- Utilizing data analysis to interpret demand patterns and identify potential risks.
- Monitoring forecast accuracy and key performance indicators to evaluate planning strategies.
- Effectively communicating demand forecasts and potential issues to stakeholders.
- Participating in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align plans with business strategies.
- Continuously reviewing and enhancing demand planning processes for improved efficiency.
- Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities impacting demand.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members fostering a collaborative team culture.

Educational Requirements
