Med Care Manager

Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Care Manager to provide quality care and services by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner. As a vital member of the team, you will uphold the mission of Sunrise Senior Living – 'to champion the quality of life for all seniors.' Your responsibilities will include medication administration, resident care, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with the highest quality care.
• Document medication administration and resident information accurately.
• Ensure medication compliance following the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Medication Room and carts.
• Communicate resident concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid may be necessary.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm in challenging situations.
