Job Purpose

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the office, from patient intake to direct patient care. Working under general supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, you will provide stellar customer service, assist with patient triage, and perform routine medical procedures based on established clinical protocols. We are willing to train an individual who is eager to contribute positively to our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of office policies and procedures.
• Update patient charts and obtain patient histories.
• Perform routine medical procedures like EKGs, immunizations, and sterile dressing changes.
• Ensure exam rooms and work areas are kept clean and organized.
• Handle immunizations, therapeutic injections, and more.
• Keep exam room supplies adequately stocked.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and office procedures.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.

Working Conditions
