Corrugator Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Corrugator Supervisor to join Hood Container Corporation in Chicago, IL. As a corrugator supervisor, you will oversee manufacturing and production schedules, provide leadership to production floor employees, and ensure operational efficiencies during the designated shift. This role involves managing production operations, maintaining quality procedures, and upholding safety regulations. We are seeking a self-driven individual with a focus on safety, people development, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules.
• Provide overall direction to production floor employees, including production, scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Strive for improvement in overall operational efficiencies during the designated shift.
• Coordinate production operations and maintain quality procedures and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership on the operating floor, ensuring compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D with equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
• Ability to work in high-temperature and humidity conditions while wearing proper PPE.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
