Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated GI Nurse Practitioner to join University Gastroenterology LLC in Providence, RI. As a vital member of our team, you will provide quality care to patients while working collaboratively with our physicians.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient consultations and health history reviews.
• Diagnose health conditions and recommend treatment options.
• Communicate and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient medical care plans.
• Conduct and supervise endoscopic procedures.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications and provide after-care information to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, Lifespan Epic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
