Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Open Heart OR Nurse to join us at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. As part of the perioperative services team, you will have the unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing various surgeries. From Robotics to Cardiovascular procedures, you will work alongside skilled professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care throughout the continuum of patient treatment.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver compassionate and safe care.
• Promote a culture of innovation and growth within the nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• BSN or ADN with a commitment to obtain BSN within five years.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposed to blood borne pathogens.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for patient care procedures.

Location

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 0.9 FTE, variable 8-hour shifts with call responsibilities.
