Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated RN (0.9 FTE, 3p-3a) to join ThedaCare at the Medical Center in Wild Rose. Our team is on a mission to deliver outstanding patient-centered care and create healthier communities. As an RN Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care across different departments, working collaboratively with the interprofessional team to ensure high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess and plan patient care.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assigned specialty area.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Contribute to a professional and engaging work environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to enhance patient care.
- Proactively manage risks and handle emergencies effectively.
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years.
- AHA Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications may be required based on departmental needs.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely and lift up to Fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for patient care procedures.
Work Environment
- Exposure to various hazards such as sharp objects and chemicals.
- Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
- Potential exposure to communicable diseases and aggressive patients.
- Compliance with department-specific competencies and safety regulations.
Schedule and Location
This role offers 12-hour shifts at ThedaCare Medical Center in Wild Rose. With a scheduled FTE of 0.9, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to elevating nursing practice and delivering exceptional patient care.
