Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated RN for the Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care position at Juliette Manor in Berlin, Wisconsin. As an RN Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialized, evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with an inter-professional team, ensuring compassionate and safe care for patients. Your role will involve utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and specific competencies to develop care plans, improve patient outcomes, and promote a culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical condition and nursing needs.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to provide high-quality care and clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in a specific clinical specialty.
- Identify ways to enhance patient experience, streamline care processes, and lower costs.
- Contribute to a professional environment that encourages mentorship and development.
- Consult and maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members.
- Proactively manage risks and handle life-threatening emergencies effectively.
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Demands
- Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and manual dexterity for patient care procedures.
Work Environment
- Exposure to sharp objects, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and toxic chemicals.
- Standing/walking for extended periods and potential exposure to communicable diseases.
- Contact with aggressive patients may occur occasionally.
