Sales Representative - Education

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our Education sales team at JTM Food Group. As a Sales Representative, you will work under the guidance of the Sales Director to increase sales in the assigned region by identifying opportunities, completing internal training, and utilizing resources efficiently both within and outside the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Planning and Development
• Reporting on Marketing spend in territory
• Supporting Food Show/Food Cuttings
• Product Training coordination
• Bid placement
• Working with brokers for market penetration
• Participating in conferences
• Managing warehouse inventories
• Traveling within the assigned region

Success Criteria

• Compliance with Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Quality policies
• BRC Compliance
• Accurate reporting
• Meeting customer requirements

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Minimum four-year college degree, preferably in business
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• Effective organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in computer applications, especially spreadsheets
