Job Description
We are looking for a service-oriented individual to join Auto Centers as a Service Advisor. In this role, you will consult with customers regarding their service needs, schedule appointments, and ensure timely completion of work by technicians.
Essential Job Functions
- Communicate directly with customers for vehicle service consultations.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently.
- Ensure timely completion of work by service technicians.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong oral communication abilities.
- Experience in quality management and adherence to safety procedures.
Preferred Education/Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent experience is desirable.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of non-supervisory service technicians is part of the role.
Work Environment
May involve exposure to moving mechanical parts with a moderate noise level.
Physical Demands
Requires standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
