Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As a warehouse package handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, handling merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and contributing to the overall success of the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in alignment with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and quality assurance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, operate equipment, and work in varying environmental conditions.
