1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. With an average of 30-35 hours per week, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budget goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Ability to adapt positively to challenges and drive for success.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
