Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and ensuring warehouse standards are met. This position offers a starting wage of $23.00 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
- Inspect products and report quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently following company procedures.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrate conscientious work ethic, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Organize and execute tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
