Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join Aldi, a leading company in the retail industry. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and management for effective communication.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
- Perform all tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and ability to follow instructions with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, bending, standing, reaching, and moving throughout the warehouse.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
