Auxiliary Operator Trainee

Job Description

We are looking to hire an Auxiliary Operator Trainee to join Constellation Energy, the nation's premier producer of clean, carbon-free energy. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for operational activities including equipment evaluation, system operations, and related administrative tasks under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and operate nuclear station equipment in the control room.
• Start, stop, and adjust various components of systems as directed.
• Take action in response to plant indicators, alarms, and emergency conditions.
• Participate in the station fire brigade and assist in directing operations.
• Identify and correct deficient conditions following station procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2 years of Power Plant experience, including 1 year of Nuclear Power Plant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related science program.
• Or equivalent work experience in power generation, particularly in the Nuclear Navy program.

Starting salary is $41.20/hour.
