Job Description

Chevron Mid-Continent Business Unit (MCBU) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Representative (Corrosion Rep) to join the Central Area Operations team in Monahans, TX. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a significant ~$15M+ Chemical and Corrosion program to optimize production in the Permian region, including artificial lift operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to Production Specialist Chemical.
• Troubleshoot and optimize chemical treatments at wells and facilities, collaborating with field ops and chemical vendors.
• Manage and execute specialty chemical jobs, ensuring service metrics are met by 4+ vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Apply safety procedures and Human and Organizational Performance principles to prevent incidents.
• Demonstrate Incident Command Leadership and strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficient in oil & gas production/processing, corrosion mechanisms, and chemical program design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to deliver effective solutions.
• Financial acumen and experience in managing operational data and performance metrics.

Relocation & International Considerations

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters. Expatriate assignments will not be entertained. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
