Job Description
The Group Fitness & Studio Team Lead (GFSTL) at VASA Fitness is responsible for creating an uplifting and inclusive fitness experience that maximizes STUDIO and Group Fitness usage. This role involves ensuring class schedules are competitive, on-trend, and convenient for members while adhering to scheduling standards and driving STUDIO and Group Fitness attendance. Additionally, the GFSTL plays a crucial role in recruiting top talent, analyzing business performance, managing operating costs, and delivering world-class member experiences.
Deliverables
- Recruiting and Staffing: Actively recruits and acquires talent to ensure schedules are staffed with the right instructors and coaches.
- Achieving Results, Maximizing STUDIO and Group Fitness Usage: Drives performance that results in achieving or exceeding financial targets and KPIs. Manages class counts, coaches instructors, and reviews and adjusts schedules to accommodate seasonality and attendance fluctuation.
- Deliver A World-Class Member Experience: Ensures clean, safe, and flawlessly executed STUDIO and Group Fitness spaces. Provides continuous training, mentoring, communication, and follow-up to maintain standards and resolve challenges.
- Trains, Coaches, and Supports Ongoing Instructor Development: Leads by example, builds trust and relationships, conducts evaluations, and facilitates practice sessions for ongoing development.
- Delivers Care and Creates Connection: Ensures members and guests receive an exceptional experience through high-energy classes that motivate, uplift, and create community.
