Job Description

Hiring an HR Generalist/Recruiter for our Metal Plating facility at AVTEC FINISHING. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or someone trying to establish a career in HR. The selected candidate will work closely with our Senior HR Manager and will focus primarily on recruiting. We believe in fostering a supportive work environment where every employee contributes to our success and is rewarded accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Establish adequate employee levels and manage the hiring cycle, from posting job ads to onboarding and orientation.
  • Prepare, process, and distribute weekly payroll.
  • Assist employees with benefits information, performance reviews, and training.
  • Handle employee relations and ensure policy enforcement, including attendance management.
  • Plan company events and manage administrative tasks such as employment verifications and termination processing.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some entry-level accounting background preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 1 year of human resources experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Decisive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, and good mathematical aptitude.
  • Professional team player with a strong attention to detail.

Salary Range

$50,000 - $60,000 + DOQ
