Job Description
Hiring an HR Generalist/Recruiter for our Metal Plating facility at AVTEC FINISHING. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or someone trying to establish a career in HR. The selected candidate will work closely with our Senior HR Manager and will focus primarily on recruiting. We believe in fostering a supportive work environment where every employee contributes to our success and is rewarded accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Establish adequate employee levels and manage the hiring cycle, from posting job ads to onboarding and orientation.
- Prepare, process, and distribute weekly payroll.
- Assist employees with benefits information, performance reviews, and training.
- Handle employee relations and ensure policy enforcement, including attendance management.
- Plan company events and manage administrative tasks such as employment verifications and termination processing.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some entry-level accounting background preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or 1 year of human resources experience.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
- Decisive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, and good mathematical aptitude.
- Professional team player with a strong attention to detail.

Salary Range
$50,000 - $60,000 + DOQ
