Job Description

Whole Foods Market is looking for passionate individuals to join their team in a variety of roles with various schedules. Whether you're interested in Bakery, Customer Service, Grocery, Meat, Prepared Foods, Produce/Floral, Seafood, Specialty, or Whole Body departments, there's an opportunity for you. This position provides support in customer service, stocking, and sanitation in the assigned department(s).

Responsibilities

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Follows department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking products.
• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products
• Ensures cases and shelves are clean and well-stocked.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Ensures maintenance of a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Maintains accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.
