Team Associate (Full-Time & Part-Time Storewide Positions)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide support performing duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in assigned department(s).
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare, package, weigh, and price products for sale and ensure product quality and freshness.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked cases and shelves, and comply with established procedures for cleanliness and safety.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, health and sanitation regulations, and safe work practices.
• Report safety hazards and violations and perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions and follow directions and procedures.
• Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.
• Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
