Hydrogeologist (Early Career)

Job Description

Montgomery & Associates is looking to hire a full-time Early Career Hydrogeologist for their California Team. This role will involve providing analytical support for groundwater modeling projects and geographic information systems analysis, working closely with team leaders and project staff. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate on projects related to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act in Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of hydrologic testing data and borehole information.
• Supporting model inputs and predictive modeling.
• Developing water budgets and hydrogeologic conceptual models.
• Preparing technical reports and collaborating with task leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hydrology, geology, or engineering.
• Understanding of groundwater principles and experience with GIS.
• Ability to work in teams, strong organizational skills, and technical writing proficiency.
• Up to 4 years of experience in environmental consulting preferred.
