Location: New York, NY 10002
Salary: $56,000 - $56,000 / year
Basic Function: Dispenses medication to clients.
Major Duties:
- Dispenses physician prescribed non-Methadone and Methadone medications.
- Reports to the disciplinary team on medical/clinical client responses to treatment protocols.
- Develops and conducts health maintenance and educational groups on hygiene, nutrition, and substance use.
- Assesses medical/clinical needs of clients, provides input to the treatment planning, etc.
- Conducts initial medical assessments on new admissions.
- Reviews and conducts internal audits of medical charts for compliance.
- Administers and monitors clients' vital signs.
- Provides emotional support to clients as appropriate.
- Fills in for other nurses on leave.
- Performs other assigned duties.
- Tuesday-Saturday 2PM-10PM
- Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM, alternating Saturdays 6:30AM-2:30PM
- Monday-Friday 9:30AM-5:30PM, alternating Saturdays 7:00AM-12PM
- Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM.
Requirements:
- RN/LPN plus 2 years related experience.
- Understanding of substance abuse and/or Methadone treatment.
- Multi-culturally sensitive to the clients' needs.
- Computer competent.
