Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse Health Unit Coordinator to join Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Health Unit Coordinator-LPN, you will support the nursing staff in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents. Your responsibilities will include transcribing medication and treatment orders, coordinating care activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Pharmacy Program.

Position Highlights

• Transcribe and process health practitioner orders.
• Implement the Genesis Pharmacy Program.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and nursing staff.
• Assist in scheduling healthcare provider appointments.
• Provide administrative support and greet patients, physicians, and visitors.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and medication transcription.
• Knowledge of drug flow processes and pharmacy systems.
• Computer proficiency, including Excel and pharmacy applications.
