Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As a key member within our healthcare service provider, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nursing staff and optimizing care services for our patients and residents. Your responsibilities will include transcription of medical orders, coordination of the Genesis Pharmacy Program, liaising with healthcare providers, and ensuring seamless patient care from admission to discharge.
Position Highlights
- Transcribe and process health practitioner orders with precision and accuracy.
- Implement and coordinate the Genesis Pharmacy Program within the nursing center.
- Work collaboratively with the Medical Director and nursing staff to achieve Pharmacy Program objectives.
- Assist in scheduling and maintaining healthcare provider appointments.
- Provide administrative support to facilitate patient admissions and discharges.
