Job Description
The Loan Workout Specialist at International State Bank of Raton will play a crucial role in managing distressed loans by analyzing borrowers' financial situations, formulating strategies to mitigate risks, and negotiating loan modifications or settlements. As part of the team, you will collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with regulations and maximize the bank's recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate borrowers' financial conditions and analyze statements, cash flows, and collateral values.
- Develop strategies to address defaults, delinquencies, and non-performing assets.
- Negotiate with borrowers and stakeholders for loan modifications or settlements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute effective workout strategies.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all workout activities and agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial banking or related areas focused on loan workouts.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software applications.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $115,000 - $175,000.
