Management Trainee
We are looking for a Management Trainee to join our Operations Management Trainee Program at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. This entry-level position involves a 16-week intensive training program to equip you with the necessary skills for a career in operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program with a mentor to learn about the transportation industry.
- Develop skills in cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship building.
- Complete guided independent study as part of the leadership training.
- Accompany and observe Account Managers and drivers to gain hands-on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation or Logistics OR 2 years of related work experience.
- Acceptable driving history meeting Company standards.
- Willingness to relocate after completing the training program.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills and a professional demeanor.
Compensation
Average Annual Starting Pay: $50,000-$60,000
