Job Description
Match Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Middle School Principal for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Middle School Principal will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our 6th-8th grade students, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that enables student success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of a strong educational program for 6th-8th grade students.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of teaching staff.
- Collaborate on strategic planning and change management initiatives.
- Provide vision and leadership on curriculum, assessments, and pedagogy.
- Cultivate a positive and safe school culture focused on learning.
- Prioritize family and community engagement to support student success.
Qualifications
- Passion for Match Education's mission of college success and beyond.
- Prior experience in education leadership, preferably as a principal or assistant principal.
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience with a successful track record.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
