Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., one of the leading petroleum transporters in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet by performing maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Complete minor diesel engine repairs.
• Handle suspension, brake systems, and component repairs.
• Manage tire maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must own tools.
• DOT certified.

Preferred:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.

Compensation: $28-38 per hour
