Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet across multiple markets. If you are knowledgeable, efficient, and quality-oriented, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs.
• Repair suspension, brake systems, and components.
• Ensure tire maintenance is up to standard.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Willingness to travel between markets.
• Other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Must own tools and be DOT certified.

Preferred:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
