Network and Systems Administrator

Job Description

Rand Technology, LLC is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to join our global IT team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and security of our network services and system infrastructure. As the key person overseeing network security and technology, you will work closely with our CIO to ensure seamless daily operations while implementing new technologies for our organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and secure network services and cyber security practices across all Rand Technology sites.
• Manage internet and intranet network services, wired and wireless, and associated hardware and software.
• Conduct monitoring, fault notification, and analysis to propose corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain network operational procedures to exceed business expectations.
• Stay updated on security threats, manage malware prevention systems, and response practices.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and secure practices.
• Provide subject matter expertise during technology emergencies.
• Research and propose the latest technology to enhance customer and client experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with firewall and network design, SD-WAN, OSPF routing, and Azure cloud management.
• Skills in vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and forensic tools.
• Proficiency in firewall systems, VPN management, WAN/LAN/VLAN, and firewalls.
• Ability to stay onsite at Irvine Corporate HQ for 4 days a week.
