Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and organizational protocols. Develops, implements, and evaluates care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with staff and other disciplines for quality care delivery. Maintains clinical competency and ensures a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
- 2 years Emergency Services or 3-5 years acute care experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat within a year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
