Job Description

Truck and Trailer Specialties, Inc. is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the daily functions of the Howell Shop. The successful candidate will communicate with customers and vendors, manage service work orders, audit employee time clock activity, assist customers with part pick-ups, schedule deliveries, prepare outgoing and incoming packages, perform filing tasks, maintain office areas, provide operational support, and manage office supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and vendors in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Open and track service work orders.
  • Audit employee time clock activity.
  • Assist customers with part pick-ups and direct them to the parts department.
  • Work closely with the shop manager and team leads to schedule deliveries.
  • Prepare outgoing and incoming packages.
  • Invoice customers daily and accept payments.
  • Confirm and track purchase orders.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Perform filing tasks and maintain tidy office areas.
  • Provide operational support to shop manager and others.
  • Place purchase orders and order/maintain office supplies.
