Railcar Repair Technician

Job Description

CalmHR Inc is looking for a Railcar Repair Technician to join First Response Rail Service, Inc. in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. As a Railcar Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting railcars daily, performing necessary repairs, making heavy repairs including welding and fabrication, and conducting railcar part change-outs in the field. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, skilled in welding, and have good spatial awareness. This role requires the ability to travel, lift up to 80lbs, and work occasional weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Mechanically inclined with welding experience.
• Good spatial awareness and time management skills.
• Ability to lift 80lbs and walk up to 10 miles a day.
• Continuous learning mindset.

Salary is negotiable based on skills. Per diem is provided for traveling. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional weekend and holiday work.
