Primary Purpose of Position: The Reactor Operator Licensee candidate will undergo training to obtain their Reactor Operator License from the NRC.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities:
- Attend classes to achieve an RO License.
- Complete study and field time requirements to attain licensed status.
- Perform other assigned duties to support site operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of power plant experience.
- Must meet NRC requirements and Company policies for psychological, drug, alcohol, and medical testing.
- Rotating shift work, including holidays and weekends.
- Physical requirements include the ability to wear a respirator and work with a 20-pound weight on the back.
