Job Description

Kettering Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position is based at KH Main Campus in Kettering, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality care to patients in all settings, in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Act as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Accountable for professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Reflect the missions, vision, values, and philosophies of the organization and nursing departments in the delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network.
• Must be available to work 2 shifts (12-hour shifts) every weekend.
• Full-time medical benefits eligible position, with Paid Time Off accrual.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Should have at least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.
