Unit Description
Central Vermont Medical Center's Medical/Surgical Unit consists of 2 South (42 beds) and 2 North (9 beds). The unit handles a wide range of cases, from chronic disease management to surgical procedures, providing nurses with a rich and rewarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Valid RN license and BLS certification.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
